Privacy Notice
How Weeks Creek Haven uses and protects information provided during direct booking and guest access.
Plain-language promise: We collect only the information reasonably needed to price, secure, manage, and support your stay. We do not sell guest information.
Information we collect
- Primary guest name, email address, mobile number, billing address, registered guest names or count, vehicle count, stay dates, pets, and booking notes.
- Payment and invoice references supplied by Square. Weeks Creek Haven does not receive or store your complete card number.
- Agreement acceptance time, the name used as the electronic signature, a shortened secure hash of the connection address, and browser information used to maintain the signing record.
- Messages, reviews, maintenance reports, and information you voluntarily provide before, during, or after a stay.
How we use it
We use this information to calculate pricing, check availability, create and service the reservation, collect payment, maintain the rental agreement, communicate booking and safety information, prevent fraud, protect the property, comply with tax or legal obligations, and respond to guest requests.
Services involved
Information may be processed by vendors that help operate the booking, payment, email, hosting, storage, review, and form-submission systems. Square processes payments under its own privacy terms. We disclose only what is reasonably needed for those services or when required by law.
Security and retention
Private booking records are encrypted in storage and access is restricted. No internet system is risk-free. Records are retained for the period reasonably needed to administer the stay, resolve disputes, maintain accounting and tax records, meet legal obligations, and protect the property. Data that is no longer needed may be deleted or de-identified.
Booking communications
By starting checkout, you consent to transactional email or text messages about payment, the agreement, arrival, safety, checkout, refunds, and the Guest Guide. Promotional messages are optional and may be declined without affecting an existing reservation.
Your choices
You may ask to review or correct your guest information, opt out of optional promotional messages, or request deletion of information that is not required for an active booking, accounting, safety, fraud-prevention, or legal purpose.
